Every year, the Minster Team look forward to hosting events for our customers. It’s a great opportunity for us to catch up with everyone, whilst also providing information regarding key product changes or upgrades. Like many events over the past 12 months, we have been unable to host any in-house as we usually would. However, this didn’t stop us from providing our customers with the high levels of service that they have come to expect – we went virtual with our first payroll webinar!
The webinar covered a number of areas, starting with a brief update on Minster’s activities during the COVID-19 pandemic; including the ways in which we have helped our customers to create new remote working models as well as undertaking cyber-security audits on their systems.
Our sales manager, Paul Taylor, gave a brief introduction to some of the modules available within Pegasus Opera 3 that would be useful to those who are looking to further adapt and develop to new ways of working.
Email Pay slips – The process of printing and physically sending pay slips from your office has become outdated and costly in comparison to the process of emailing them. Emailing pay slips not only has both financial and time-saving benefits, but employees will have immediate access to their previous pay slips, eliminating any need for your payroll team to spend time gathering this information.
Document Management – This module’s strapline says it all: ‘A place for everything, and everything in its place.’ Document Management captures all of your essential business documents and stores them electronically - enabling instant access to all employees with access to the software. In addition to this, the module integrates across all Opera 3 applications, so that you can securely store any type of document relating to any customer or transaction.
Pegasus Web Xchange– Web Xchange is a secure and easy way to access your Opera 3 data on the go, at any time. It provides a set of services that are used to securely access and view Opera 3 data via a web browser. Web Xchange has many exciting features such as Mobile Sales, Payroll Self Service and Online Timesheets.
Payroll Self Service (PSS) - As part of the Web Xchange feature, the Payroll Self Service module enables employees to view and manage their personal data on the move with 24/7 access. Employees have the ability to access their data, including holiday entitlements and their payslips, and pension contributions.
If you are interested in receiving more information regarding any of these features and modules, get in touch with the Minster Team on 0156268211 or email email@example.com – we would be happy to help!
During the webinar, Minster’s Applications team leader, Phil Taylor, informed our customers of the changes that would be included in the Payroll upgrade 2021/22, including:

- Personnel benefits
- RTI (Real Time Information)
