Introducing the Newest Members of the Minster Team!
As a result of a sustained period of growth within Minster, we are pleased to announce we have taken on five new members of staff within our technical support team.
We understand how important it is to ensure that our staff numbers reflect the growth within our customer base to guarantee that we can provide a consistent gold standard of support to our customers. We are also keen to continue our employee development program so have restarted our apprenticeship scheme for this year.
Simon Redican and Steve Loader have joined Minster as Senior Applications Consultants and Pegasus Developers. Simon and Steve have been software consultants for over 20 years, specialising in Pegasus software development; we are really excited to see the effects of their expertise upon the business through their support of both our customers and our current applications team!
As well as investing in experienced, highly skilled technical people, we are proud to have re-launched our apprenticeship program after last years’ hiatus and have employed 3 new apprentices!
We believe that it’s so important to employ young people within the IT industry; not only to offer a fresh outlook upon business technologies but also to ensure that there is a continued transfer of knowledge from those who have many years of hands-on experience within the sector. We have always offered our apprentices the opportunity to share their ideas within the business and have found that they have a fantastic ability to showcase their own views on new and innovative technologies! So, we are certain of exciting times ahead!
Oliver Price has joined our Infrastructure team as a Level 3 IT technician, working closely with our experienced engineers to support our customers with their IT hardware jobs.
‘I recently joined Minster as an apprentice and so far, it’s been a great experience. I love the sense of community that everyone has, every individual in the team is easy to talk to and are very helpful when I’ve asked questions about the tasks I was given. I’ve always been passionate about IT and love learning new information.’
Sean Hancox has joined our team as a Level 3 Software development apprentice.
‘I have been with Minster as an Applications Apprentice for a short time now, and can honestly say that this is the best working environment that I’ve ever experienced; I get home from work wanting to come back! I specifically have a long-term interest in pursuing a career in the Development/DevOps side of software and have a keen interest in Microsoft related technologies.’
Ben Harbach has also joined the company as a Level 3 Software development apprentice.
‘I recently joined Minster Micro as an apprentice in the Applications team, and it has been a great experience so far. Everyone at Minster is super friendly, and are more than happy to help whenever I have a question which is great.’
