Kidderminster based Minster Micro has been announced as Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Member of the Month for September.
We have been a Chamber of Commerce Member for almost four years, and have found it to be beneficial to all areas of the business; from HR support to the lead generation of strong, local businesses.
Minster have attended both the networking events and the expo, year after year, and have found that Members have a great sense of unity.
Having the opportunity to publish news stories on the Chamber website and in the Member’s Magazine, Business Direction, has enabled the in-house marketing team to push press releases further and has encouraged an increase in inbound enquiries.
Over the past two years, the main focus of Minster has been on internal growth, and the company is proud to have built a strong team of local specialists.
After attending an event organised by the Chamber and hearing about the Apprenticeship Scheme, we have since recruited seven apprentices within the last two years. Those who have finished their apprenticeship have gone on to gain full-time employment at the company; including a Software Engineer, a Hardware Technician and a Marketing Assistant.
We will be exhibiting at the Chamber’s Business Expo at the Three Counties Showground on Thursday 5 October, and look forward to catching up with other Members and developing further business together.
Speaking of being selected as Member of the Month, Minster Micro said: “We are honoured to be the Chamber’s Member of the Month for September, and would particularly like to mention Melanie Eastwood as a key player in supporting Minster’s fruitful membership with the Chamber.”
